Reservation Process
To make a reservation, you simply have to choose an activity and click on “Book Now”:
The reservation process is very easy, select the date you like best, the number of people and fill in your personal and payment information.
The price of the activity includes private transportation to the place we visit, the different insurances required to carry out the activities, as well as the equipment needed for each activity.
It also includes qualified Guides and Instructors who will guide you throughout the experience, so you can have fun in a safe environment.
All activities also include a photographic or video report to remember the adventure. It also includes a meal at a Local Restaurant.
The group from Barcelona will be a maximum of 8 people.
Once we arrive in Tossa de Mar, the group that performs the Diving activity will be divided into groups of 2 people per instructor. The group that makes the kayak excursion will have a maximum of 12 participants, since there are people who can join the activity from the beach.
In general, a reservation request has to be made online.
Only in very exceptional cases, we can help by phone. Please note that you will need to provide us with your payment details over the phone.

No. In order to confirm your reservation, you must pay a deposit of 30% of the activity price.
Any of the activities we offer are suitable for children over 12 years of age.
Unfortunately Yes. Our smallest life jackets are limited to 25kg (56lbs) and our maximum limit is 115kg (253lbs).
In compliance with Spanish regulations, knowing how to swim is an essential requirement to be able to carry out our Kayak and Diving activities. High skill is not required, just a basic level of swimming, you must be comfortable in the water and be able to swim 50 meters.
The whole day of the tour lasts around 10 hours from the time of departure to the time of arrival in Barcelona. The kayaking and diving activities last approximately 3 hours from the time we make the briefing and deliver the equipment until we return to the beach.
We try to adapt to the different demands of our customers. You can book any type of sport event, for companies, individuals, families, groups, etc.

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed on our excursions.
Existing booking
We meet at the Cafeteria in the Hotel TSH Campus Barcelona Marina, located at:Carrer de Sancho de Ávila, 22, 08018 Barcelona.
The meeting point is 3-minutes away walking distance from the MARINA Metro stop (Metro L1-Red Line).
You can make a combination with the Train lines R1, R3, R4 and R7, RG1 and regional line R12.
- From MARINA Metro stop, head north on Avinguda Meridiana towards Carrer de Sancho de Ávila
- Turn right onto Carrer de Sancho de Ávila and walk 150 meters.
- The destiny is at the right. Welcome to the Hotel TSH Campus Barcelona Marina.
Yes. You must be at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance. You will find this information in the booking confirmation email.
No. A digital version on your phone is totally valid.
We go in our private van (maximum 8 seats) to Tossa de Mar. The trip from Barcelona lasts one hour and fifteen minutes each way.
Unfortunately, if there is a lot of traffic on the highway, we can get delayed. Just like the weather… it is out of our control.
Remember that you can modify or cancel your reservation up to 24 hours in advance and you will get a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the booked activity, we are normally unable to offer a refund. However, we can reschedule your reservation for another day, depending on availability. Gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable.
Outdoor activities mean being outdoors! And many activities depend on the weather.
We generally do not cancel our activities due to cloudy skies or light showers (the Mediterranean can be especially calm and pleasant during light rain), but we do cancel tours due to constant rain, especially strong winds, thunderstorms, high waves or invasion of jellyfish on the shore.
Only the instructor has the last word when it comes to canceling an activity. We will send you an email the night before if the activity is in risk of being cancelled, but if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. We will try to reschedule the activity according to availability. In case that rescheduling is not possible, you will be entitled to a full refund, according to the general conditions of Kairos Barcelona Tours.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Our activities are subject to changing weather conditions and the state of the sea, even during departure. For this reason KAIROS BARCELONA TOURS may be forced to cancel the activity; In this case, the client may choose between postponing the activity or Getting the refund the amount paid. We generally do not cancel our activities due to cloudy skies or light showers, but we do cancel tours due to constant rain, especially strong winds, thunderstorms, high waves… Up to 24 hours before the tour, the client can cancel the booking with a full refund or make any changes, including changing the number of people coming on the tour or the date of the activity (subject to availability).
CURRENT RESTRICTIONS DUE TO COVID-19
As we can read at the Catalonian government official webiste (Ministry of Home Affairs), they still keep some indications on hygienic and organizational measures, as well as restrictive measures in certain activities in accordance with current regulations. (Info valid from Friday, April 1, 2022): - the physical interpersonal safety distance is established at 1.5 meters, in general - Correct ventilation in closed spaces; outdoor spaces are preferable for carrying out activities. - Use of the mask in air, sea, rail and road public transport, including taxis and similar vehicles with up to 9 seats. In our excursions, special health and safety measures are applied. Due to our activities taking place outside we feel confident that the risk is low for you and our staff. However, when we are in closed spaces we use a mask, as indicated by the law.
Kayak & Scuba Diving
We use sit-on-top kayaks because they are safer, more stable and fun.
if you fall from the kayak there is no risk. In fact, it is fun and refreshing! And don’t worry, it usually happens to more than one participant. Our guide will show you what to do in that case or even help you with a practical tip at the beginning of the tour.
It is not necessary to bring any type of special equipment. We will provide you with all the necessary equipment for the adventure.
However, after making the reservation, we will give you a list of the recommended clothing and accessories that you may bring to the tour.
It is ideal to attend the activity with the necessary clothing and accessories to make the best of the experience. For this reason, for a kayak or diving excursion we always recommend to bring swimwear, a cap or sun hat and water shoes. We also recommend the use of sunscreen. It is ideal to bring a soft drink or water, as well as fruit or snacks for the stops on the excursion.
The activities are totally safe, we guarantee maximum security. We also make sure each participant is able to perform according to the chosen level, without any risk, having fun and making the adventure exciting.
Our professional team will be responsible to resolve any questions during the activity.
We provide the best material for each activity, to guarantee maximum security.
In all our activities we will do a briefing and a short training about safety, technique, practice and doubts.
During all the activities, depending on the chosen one, we always carry out photographic or video reports, which can be downloaded later.
In our kayaks, we can make different combinations. We have double kayaks for 2 adults or 2 adults + child or 2 children over 12 years old. We also have individual kayaks for both adults and children over 12 years of age.
Kayaking is not difficult at all, and this activity is suitable for all levels and ages from 12 years. But it is essential to attend the initial briefing of the activity, in order to learn the basic movements, recommendations and safety regulations on the kayak. Everything will be super simple and you will be able to enjoy the activity and have fun.
Although it is not recommended to bring valuables on any of the excursions, we have lockers at our Dive Center where you can store valuables such as mobile phones, wallets, travel documents, etc. KAIROS BARCELONA TOURS is not responsible for possible losses or damage to personal material.
Normally yes, we will do all that! (If you dare, of course!) However, your guide will determine if it is possible once they are doing the activity. The safety of the group is our priority and if the sea does not allow us to carry out any of these actions in a safe environment, then the guide will decide not to do it.
We recommend bringing as less as possible. Do not hesitate to bring a waterproof camera and a bottle of water in the kayak. Basically, don’t bring anything you don’t want to get wet or lost. If you have any medication, diabetic snacks, etc., you can ask the guide to bring it for you in his waterproof bag.
